A tequila application of the classic Fizz format dating to the late 1800s New Orleans bar scene — no single credited inventor for this variant.
Flavour Profile
Good as a lighter, quicker alternative to a Paloma or Margarita. Not for someone who wants a long, sippable drink.
Glass & Garnish
Small fizz glass, no ice.

Ingredients
- Tequila2 oz
- Fresh lime juice0.75 oz
- Simple syrup0.75 oz
- Soda water~2 oz, to top

Method
- Shake tequila, lime, syrup with ice 12–15 seconds.
- Strain into a fizz glass, no ice.
- Top with soda water.

Notes
Serve immediately. Pairs well with light salty snacks.
