Tequila/Mezcal
Spicy Margarita

The classic Margarita, turned up with real jalapeño heat.
Every recipe on Sipped Right is tested at home before it's published — not just written.
Origin
The Margarita's origin is heavily disputed among competing bartender legends across 1930s–40s Mexico/US border towns, with no version verified. The jalapeño variation is a modern "swicy" trend addition.
Flavour Profile
Good for someone who wants real heat, not a garnish-level kick. Not for someone spice-sensitive.
