Tequila/Mezcal
Pineapple Habanero Mezcal Sour

Smoky mezcal, sweet pineapple, and a slow habanero burn.
Every recipe on Sipped Right is tested at home before it's published — not just written.
Origin
A modern build with no historic lineage, riding the "swicy" trend — mezcal's smokiness pairs with tropical fruit and chili heat, common on menus over the past decade.
Flavour Profile
Good for someone who wants smoke and heat together. Not for someone who dislikes mezcal's smoky character.
Glass & Garnish
Coupe or martini glass, chilled.

Ingredients
- Mezcal1.5 oz
- Pineapple juice0.75 oz
- Fresh lime juice0.5 oz
- Habanero syrup0.25 oz

Method
- Dry shake all ingredients 10 seconds.
- Add ice, shake hard 12 seconds.
- Double-strain into a chilled coupe.

Notes
Adjust habanero syrup to taste. Tequila substitutes but loses the smoke. Pairs well with grilled pineapple.
