Mango Chilli Daiquiri

Mango sweetness meets a real chilli kick — the Daiquiri format, turned up.
Every recipe on Sipped Right is tested at home before it's published — not just written.
Origin
The Daiquiri format dates to Cuba in the late 1800s, generally credited to American mining engineer Jennings Cox, though the exact first pour can't be verified with full certainty. This mango-chilli version is a modern flavoured variation.
Flavour Profile
Good for someone who wants fruity sweetness with genuine building heat. Not for someone spice-sensitive — the heat is real, not decorative.
Glass & Garnish
Coupe or martini glass, chilled.

Ingredients
- White rum2 oz
- Fresh lime juice0.75 oz
- Mango purée0.5 oz
- Chilli syrup0.25 oz

Method
- Shake all ingredients with ice 10–12 seconds.
- Double-strain into a chilled coupe.

Notes
Adjust chilli syrup to taste, starting lighter. No mango purée? Blended fresh or frozen mango, strained, substitutes. Pairs well with spicy or grilled food.
