Rum
Cloud Nine

Soft, tropical, and almost iridescent — the drink that looks like its name.
Every recipe on Sipped Right is tested at home before it's published — not just written.
Origin
An original Sipped Right build, drawing on the broader tiki tradition of pairing rum with tropical fruit and coconut, popularized in the US from the 1930s onward — not a historic named recipe itself.
Flavour Profile
Good for someone who wants a tropical drink that leans soft and creamy rather than sharp. Not for someone who wants a tart or spirit-forward pour.
Glass & Garnish
Over crushed ice, rocks or tiki glass.

Ingredients
- Coconut rum1.5 oz
- Lychee juice1.5 oz
- Coconut water2 oz
- Creamto float

Method
- Add coconut rum, lychee juice, coconut water to a glass with crushed ice.
- Stir gently.
- Float cream over the back of a spoon.
- Garnish with mint.

Notes
Full-fat coconut cream instead of dairy for a fully coconut-forward version. No lychee juice? Canned lychee syrup works. Pairs well with tropical-fruit desserts.
