Gin Buck

The Moscow Mule's gin-forward cousin.
Every recipe on Sipped Right is tested at home before it's published — not just written.
Origin
Same early-1900s Buck cocktail family as the Moscow Mule — no single credited inventor for the gin variant.
Flavour Profile
Good for ginger snap with gin's botanical character instead of vodka's neutrality. Not for someone who wants a neutral base.
Glass & Garnish
Highball, full of ice.

Ingredients

- Fresh lime juice0.5 oz
- Ginger beer4 oz, to top

Method
- Add gin and lime to a glass with ice.

Notes
Use a spicy ginger beer, not mild ginger ale. Pairs well with spicy or fried snacks.
