Origin
Sloe gin (a British sloe-berry liqueur, not true gin) fizzes date to the late 1800s British drinking tradition, following the generic Fizz template — no single credited inventor.
Flavour Profile
Good for someone who wants fruit sweetness rather than gin's botanicals. Not for someone who wants a dry, herbal gin drink.
Glass & Garnish
Small fizz glass, no ice.

Ingredients
- Sloe gin2 oz
- Fresh lemon juice0.75 oz
- Simple syrup0.75 oz
- Soda water~2 oz, to top

Method
- Shake sloe gin, lemon, syrup with ice 12–15 seconds.
- Strain into a fizz glass, no ice.
- Top with soda water.

Notes
Serve immediately for best foam. Pairs well with light desserts.
