Tequila/Mezcal
Naked and Famous

Equal parts, smoky and bittersweet — modeled directly on the Last Word's structure.
Every recipe on Sipped Right is tested at home before it's published — not just written.
Origin
Created by bartender Joaquín Simó in New York around 2011, deliberately modeled on the Last Word's equal-parts structure — a well-documented modern lineage.
Flavour Profile
Good for someone who wants mezcal's smoke alongside genuine bittersweet complexity. Not for someone new to mezcal or Chartreuse.
Glass & Garnish
Coupe glass, chilled.

Ingredients
- Mezcal0.75 oz
- Aperol0.75 oz
- Yellow Chartreuse0.75 oz
- Fresh lime juice0.75 oz

Method
- Shake all four with ice 10–12 seconds.
- Double-strain into a chilled coupe. No garnish.

Notes
Equal parts, easy to scale. No good substitute for yellow Chartreuse — worth seeking out. Pairs well with light savoury bites.
