Cucumber-Jalapeño Gin Smash

Garden-fresh cucumber meets real jalapeño heat.
Every recipe on Sipped Right is tested at home before it's published — not just written.
Origin
A modern build with no historic lineage — part of the wider "swicy" gin-smash trend pairing garden vegetables with citrus and chili heat.
Flavour Profile
Good for someone who wants a refreshing gin drink with a spicy finish. Not for someone who wants a purely non-spicy gin drink.
Glass & Garnish
Rocks glass, fresh ice.

Ingredients
- Gin2 oz
- Fresh lime juice0.75 oz
- Simple syrup0.5 oz
- Cucumber slices3, muddled
- Jalapeño slices2, muddled

Method
- Muddle cucumber and jalapeño.
- Add gin, lime, syrup with ice.
- Shake hard 10–12 seconds.
- Strain over fresh ice.

Notes
Adjust jalapeño count for heat. Pairs well with light salads or seafood.
